SakuKita is a household money app run by an individual developer in Indonesia. This policy explains what we collect, why, where it is kept and the choices you have. It follows Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (UU 27/2022) and, for people in the EU and UK, the GDPR.
Account: your name, email address and a scrambled (scrypt-hashed) form of your password. If you sign in with Google we keep your Google account ID and email.
What you enter: households, accounts, balances, transactions, budgets, savings goals, gold and debt records, tasks, notes and messages. Members of a household see what is entered in it.
Technical data: a sign-in cookie, and your IP address in a scrambled form to limit repeated sign-in attempts; those counters are deleted within a day.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not sell or rent your data.
Receipt photos and voice recordings are processed on your own device. They are not uploaded to our servers. To do this your device downloads recognition models from jsDelivr, Hugging Face and projectnaptha.com, which can see your IP address as for any download.
To run the service you asked for (our contract with you), to keep accounts secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest), and to send messages you request such as password reset links. We use your email only for account messages.
Vercel Inc. hosts the app. Supabase Inc. hosts the database in Mumbai, India. Resend sends account email. Google provides optional sign-in. Each processes data only to provide its service to us. Data may therefore be transferred outside your country; we rely on these providers’ contractual safeguards.
Connections are encrypted (HTTPS, and TLS with certificate checks to the database).
For as long as your account exists. A deleted household is erased for good after 30 days. Deleting your account erases it immediately, together with every household only you use. Household records you created in a household other members still use stay with that household, credited to “Deleted account”. Database backups are kept for up to 30 days.
You can see and correct your data in the app, download a copy (Settings › Account › Download account data, and Settings › Data › Download Excel), and delete your account (Settings › Account › Delete account). You may also object to processing, ask us to restrict it, or withdraw consent, and complain to your data protection authority.

SakuKita is not meant for children under 13. Anyone under the age of majority where they live should use it with a parent’s or guardian’s permission.
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they apply.
